So, i went to my BCA to try redoing all steps. Press and hold the Option (or Alt) key as your Mac. If you haven't installed the latest Boot Camp updates, you might get the message Could not locate the OS X boot volume.' Or use Startup Manager as your Mac starts up: Restart your Mac from the Start menu in Windows. I searched for it, and some people say it's a glitch when you don't install windows on the first attempt. From the menu shown, choose Restart in macOS. Then i went trying to install windows, restarted and selected my external drive, but, after it boots, my mouse and keyboard does not work (despite of me putting all apple's support software inside of the flash drive).

So, the thing is, my HD was partitioned, but BootCamp partition does not show up, neither in system info nor in Disk Utility Then, i went to check my HD, and thats what i saw:

I'm not sure if this affects anything but I am also using Parallels Desktop with the Boot Camp partition.Model: Macbook Pro 15'' (retina, late 2013) El Captain 10.11.1Īfter partioning my HD, BootCamp Assistant automatically restarted my Mac, and after full restart, an error appeared "Your computer was restarted because of a problem" (kinda like that). I downloaded the WindowsSupport files in macOS and ran them in Windows 10, this brought back my ability to scroll and right click using the trackpad.īut the Boot Camp Manager still didn't come back. I upgraded Windto 1909 and things seemed to be okay.īut I noticed my trackpad wouldn't right click and the Boot Camp Manager was missing from the task bar though I think this disappeared before the upgrading to 1909.

Restarting and selecting option, still allows me to boot into Windows. Recently under Start Disk in macOS my Windows drive no longer appears (still exists on my desktop) only the Macintosh drive appears. I have my Macintosh disk partitioned and Windows 10 installed on the partition. I am running a 2018 Mac Mini with an eGPU.
